This page is for patients who have already established care with Louisiana Veterinary Behavior Services. Below you'll be able to schedule follow up appointments and request prescription renewals. If you have not already established care and are looking to schedule an appointment, please visit our new patient page.

We are happy to answer quick questions via text or email, but recommend scheduling a follow up to assess progress, to move forward with the next step, or to make modifications in your treatment plan. Not sure if you need a follow up? Email Dr. Ansel!

Current patients are required by the State of Louisiana to be seen once yearly in person in order to maintain a valid veterinarian/ client/ patient relationship (VCPR). This VCPR is required for diagnosis and treatment including prescriptions and specific recommendations.
In-Clinic Follow Up ($75-$150)
Have an update for us that requires more than a quick phone call or text? Schedule a follow up today! In-clinic follow ups last 30-60 minutes and are for previously established patients. These appointments are seen at Resurge Veterinary Surgical Specialists and Rehabilitation in Covington, LA.
*In-home consultations are recommended for cats and inter-dog (housemate) aggression*
In-Home Follow Up ($150)
Have an update for us that requires more than a quick phone call or text? Schedule a follow up today! In-home follow ups last 60 minutes and are for previously established patients. These appointments take place in the client's home.

Phone/ Virtual Follow Up ($50-$100)
Have an update that is more than a quick text, but less than an in-person visit? Schedule a phone call or video chat! Phone calls and virtual follow ups are up to 30-60 minutes long and are for previously established patients.

If it's been a year since we've seen your pet, please be aware that in-person visits are required yearly in order to continue providing treatment including prescription refills and changes to treatment plan. In-person visits can be in-clinic or in-home.
