Laura Ansel, DVM
A native of Louisiana, Laura grew up working and competing with horses and training dogs. She attended Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science and then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Ansel worked in both equine and small animal practice before moving back to Louisiana and opening Louisiana Veterinary Behavior Services in 2019. Dr. Laura Ansel is a current resident in the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and practices behavioral medicine in south Louisiana.
Brianne Stiede, KPA-CTP
With over ten years of experience working in the animal training field, Brianne had a unique introduction into training. Having grown up just outside of New Orleans, at 12 years old she started volunteering at the Audubon Zoo and began learning to work with animals. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of New Orleans, and continued working in the zoo/aquarium field as a marine mammal trainer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided she wanted to utilize her knowledge of training and behavior to help people with their pets. Soon after becoming a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, she met Dr. Laura Ansel. The two have been working together ever since!
